The word “strategy” refers to any level in the corporate or company. Generally, there are three major levels in a corporate. Visionary level’s held by CEO. Top level managements are the activators of strategically level. And middle managements will supervise the implementing programs due to the laid strategic instruction. The levels will be change as deep as corporate structures enlargement.
At least, there are four critical parts that supporting company’s grand strategy. Financial, operation, human resource, and marketing are four critical parts that can not be separated. How big or how small the company is, all of them will be the strategic bones. Not one of the bones shall be left. Each of company level has different depth in financial, operation, human resource, and marketing overview.
While we talk about marketing strategy, the point of view is general marketing manager’s task. He should develop marketing research and get the correct analysis. He has to assign objectives. He should be thinking about marketing tactics. His responsibility is according to the branding and selling achievement. He should direct and integrates sub levels function. In the same time he has to coordinate with others general manager. He works both vertically and horizontally. His judgments have to be fit between inside and outside. His mission is winning the market competition. He is like a commandant in the war.
